Appointments

Test Results

Due to our privacy policy and regulations, our receptionists are not permitted to access results. When a doctor has ordered any test, it is strongly recommended you make an appointment to follow-up test results.

After-hours service:

For emergencies, please call Emergency (000) or visit the Emergency department at your nearest hospital. The nearest hospital to our clinic is Monash Medical Centre at Clayton. For urgent medical care when our clinic is closed, please call Australian Locum Medical Service at 13 26 60

Interpreter Service:

You required interpreter service during your consult, please inform us when you make your appointment.

Appointments:

Booking is preferred for all consultations with our doctors. You can choose online booking or phone booking

If you request urgent service however online booking is full, please call us at +613 9807 7338 to discuss

Walk-Ins:

We normally require people to make a booking but we can sometimes help if you walk into the Medical Centre. Priority is given to people who have made a booking.  

Telehealth:

From 2nd April 2024, Telehealth will charge the same fee as face-to-face consultation. We prefer a face-to-face consultation. However, if you are a regular patient and you're unable to travel to the medical center, telehealth service may be available. Please contact the clinic for more information.

Cancellation:

$30 of the cancellation or non-attendance fees will apply if a cancellation with less than 2 hours or no show on appointment with the GP.

We understand that you may need to cancel the scheduled appointment from time to time, due to an emergency. If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us a call at +613 9807 7338 or email us at admin@purrunamedical.com.au as soon as possible, to enable those in need of waitlisted patients a chance to be seen.
