Fees

Purruna Medical Centre is a mixed-billing medical clinic. In order to provide the best patient care, an out of pocket fee will apply to your consultation.

Medicare rebates are available for most medical services. Payment in full is required on the day of service. The practice offers a variety of payment methods: cash, credit card or EFTPOS.  We use Medicare online to electronically forward your rebate back into your bank account. 

From 1st July 2025, our GAP fees will increase to $35. The new fees are set as below. Payment via Card will occur 1.5% surcharge fee.

New Option: Patients registered with MyMedicare and stay in the program who pay the full standard consultation fee for (4) visits within financial years will become eligible for bulk billed standard consultation for the remainder of the financial year (up to 30 June 2026)

Bulk-Bill is still available for Kids under 16, DVA, pensioners and healthcare card holders (not including mental health care plan)

Private patient vaccination only will not charge a GAP fee.

Purruna medical centre has teamed up with 13SICK - National Home Doctor service. The service provides after-hours medical care offering bulk-billed GP home visits and telehealth consultation when our clinic is closed for the day.
